About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Sales Representative to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving new business and growing our presence in the Canberra region.

As a key member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to learn quickly and demonstrate a willingness to undertake any task at hand. You will be expected to have excellent problem-solving and time management skills, as well as demonstrated high-level customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively pursue new business in a structured, focused, and considered manner
  • Develop and nurture existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs each week
  • Demonstrate a keen passion to drive the business forward and continue to grow
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business
  • Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement
  • Strive for improvement in operations while upholding a high level of safety at all times
About You
  • Driven and ambitious by nature, you love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers
  • You are well-presented and have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Outgoing by nature, you enjoy meeting people and have a strong focus on customer service
  • Previous face-to-face selling experience is highly regarded
  • You are motivated and love to work autonomously, and you enjoy being part of a larger team
  • You have a strong attention to detail; you are thorough and methodical in your approach
  • You have your own roadworthy vehicle and a valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry
