Risk Manager Liaison

As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for assessing moderate to complex liability risks and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply underwriting strategies to target markets and accounts within your area.
- Underwrite liability insurance risks following guidelines and standards.
- Support account management and procurement efforts by liaising with teams.
- Mentor team members, provide guidance, and pursue personal development.
- Manage the liability portfolio, including processing, credit management, documentation, and risk servicing.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal and external customers, including visits to agents and brokers.
- Experience in general liability underwriting, risk management, liability broking, or related fields.
- Knowledge of insurance legal/regulatory environments and risk analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with agents, brokers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in risk evaluation and coverage determination.
- Problem-solving skills for complex underwriting scenarios and negotiations.
- Customer-focused approach to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Experience with Pricing, Portfolio Management, and intermediary account management.
- Insurance qualification such as ANZIIF Cert IV or working towards it.
