The Executive Government Services directorate provides strategic support and advice on the management and operation of State Parliament, Executive Council and Executive Government, and delivers executive support to the Premier, Ministers, their officers, and agencies in relation to the management of Cabinet business.
The Information Release Branch coordinates and provides advice relating to the release of information by DPC, including Ministerial Liaison, and access through the Freedom of Information Act 1992 and in response to legal requirements to produce information.
About the Role
As the Manager, Ministerial Liaison you would be primarily responsible for the coordination of all incoming ministerial correspondence to the Department and the provision of timely and accurate responses, answers and material for ministerial and parliamentary matters, through :
- effective management of the activities of the Ministerial Liaison Unit (MLU),
- oversight and coordination of ministerial and parliamentary correspondence processes,
- relationship management, and close liaison, with the Premier's and Ministers' offices regarding Ministerial requirements.

We're seeking candidates with the following capabilities :
Knowledge of government and Parliamentary processes, and experience in Ministerial liaison.The ability to proactively lead a team that maintains high standards when managing competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.A customer-focused approach based on relationship building and communication.Integrity, self-awareness and leadership.For further job related information
