Key to success in this Training Lead role will be effective delivery of training and engagement activities. This involves developing and coordinating internal and external training materials, engaging with stakeholders across Queensland and helping them navigate significant technical change.

The role requires a team player who has proven skills, knowledge and experience in training and organisational change as part of large ICT programs of work. Key responsibilities include writing, researching, content development, facilitation, administration and implementation across various communication channels to support, promote and elevate the work of the large ICT Program.

A key skill for this position is ability to cultivate and maintain trusted partnerships with stakeholders across an agency using effective engagement, advocacy, collaboration and negotiation techniques. Additionally, ability to manage work activities according to schedule demands, organise stakeholders through physical and virtual meetings, plan and undertake training needs analysis, training plans and delivery, and manage related registers and plans are essential.

High-level time management and organisational skills, along with advanced written, oral communication and interpersonal skills, are required for this position. The successful contractor will also be expected to liaise with business process owners, subject matter experts and business analysts to understand business needs and include them in training materials and collateral.

Requirements for this role include at least five years' demonstrated application of training development and delivery, expertise in eLearning development, strong video content creation skills, instructional design capability and ability to travel throughout the state as required.
