
Speech Pathology Clinical Education Expert

This part-time role offers a chance to contribute to the clinical education of students within our School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. As a Speech Pathology Education Specialist, you will play a key role in providing support and advice for students in the clinical education context.
About You
- A degree in Speech Pathology with a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the clinical education of students.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, negotiation and conflict management with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders through networking and engagement.
- Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills that are representative of high-level stakeholder engagement including presenting at a range of forums.
- Self-motivation, ability to assume responsibility, problem-solve and take initiative to enhance operational and strategic outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage a range of competing priorities to successful conclusion.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert support and guidance to students during their clinical placements.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure students receive high-quality learning experiences that meet accreditation requirements.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including practice educators, academics and other professionals, to facilitate effective placement arrangements.
- Assist in the development and evaluation of education and training resources for practice educators.
- Contribute to the advancement of clinical education within the School, by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must maintain unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment. The successful candidate will be required to complete mandatory immunisations and a criminal history check, as well as currently hold or be eligible for practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia, and hold or be eligible to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid/CPR certification and a valid driver's licence.
