Senior Speech Pathologist Role Overview

This dynamic position offers a unique opportunity to deliver expert speech pathology care, lead service improvements, and make a meaningful impact in patients' lives across community and residential settings.

As a Senior Speech Pathologist, you will provide comprehensive assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patients within community and residential care settings. You will have the ability to develop and implement high-quality services that improve patient outcomes and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Provide expert clinical care to patients in both community and residential care settings.
  • Service Development: Lead and contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, and research activities.
  • Supervision and Education: Supervise, educate, and mentor less experienced clinicians, students, and allied health assistants.
What We Are Looking For
  • Expert Clinical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in delivering complex speech pathology services with a strong evidence-based approach.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across disciplines, patients, and carers.
  • Caseload Management: Proven ability to prioritise and manage complex caseloads in dynamic clinical environments.
