\Job Description:\\
We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our clinical education team as a Clinical Education Liaison Manager. This role is designed for a skilled clinician looking to apply their expertise in educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.
\This part-time (40% FTE) continuing position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of clinical education programs, while also advancing your own professional growth and development.
\The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the university and beyond.
\Key Responsibilities:\
- Manage student placements to ensure balanced experiences that meet accreditation requirements.\
- Develop and deliver education and training strategies for practice educators on facilitation of learning and assessment of student clinical practice.\
- Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders to develop and evaluate new and existing placement opportunities.\
- Provide support and advice to students in the clinical education context, informed by professional, ethical, legal, and organisational standards.\
Required Skills and Qualifications:\
To be successful in this role, you will need:
\- A degree in Speech Pathology with a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience.\
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the clinical education of students.\
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, negotiation, and conflict management.\
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present at a range of forums.\
- Self-motivation, ability to assume responsibility, problem-solve, and take initiative to enhance operational and strategic outcomes.\
- High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.\
