Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to lead our tax operations across the Australian region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and lodge tax returns in accordance with relevant tax laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Develop effective tax strategies to optimise business outcomes.
- Provide tax inputs for financial statements
- Analyse financial data and provide recommendations based on findings.
- Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations across the Australian region.
- Provide clear, practical tax advice to internal stakeholders.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- CPA/CA qualification (or working towards) is highly desirable.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in tax accounting, preferably with public accounting or corporate tax.
- Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
