Independent Living Facility Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Village Manager to join our team.
The role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of an independent living facility, including office administration, financial management, asset management, supplier management, and resident interaction.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires excellent organisational and planning skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of running the retirement village, from administration to asset management
- Interacting with residents, their families, and staff to ensure a high level of service excellence
- Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
The ideal candidate will have:
- A result-focused attitude and proven experience in business management or facility management
- Demonstrable skills in organisation, planning, time management, and crisis management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders
- Competency in accounts and reconciliation, with knowledge of MYOB
Preferred qualifications include:
- Qualifications in business management or facility management
- Experience working in an independent living retirement village
- Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements related to retirement villages
