The Senior Property Manager oversees a portfolio of service residences, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and DHA standards.

Responsibilities include managing occupant and landlord interactions, property maintenance, and other related matters within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Duties:

  • Conduct property inspections to identify occupant liability and coordinate preparation for incoming occupants.
  • Manage maintenance services, including raising work orders, monitoring progress, and authorising payment upon completion.
  • Update DHA systems efficiently to ensure properties are returned for occupancy within set timeframes, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide pro-active advice and solutions to internal and external customer enquiries and requests, and serve as the first point of contact for complex issues.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as real estate, business, or a similar discipline.
  • Extensive experience in property management, preferably in a government or Defence organisation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and manage conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.

This position requires a valid Driver Licence and eligibility for Baseline Vetting security clearance for consideration by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). A comprehensive selection process will be undertaken, and additional requirements may apply based on the outcomes of that process.
