Overview

MLHD is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who can provide plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to regional communities. You will work collaboratively with a supportive allied health team and have opportunities to work across a range of settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Helping clients in rural areas achieve positive health outcomes using new ways of delivering care.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
  • Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate.
About The Team

The dynamic occupational therapy team at Griffith Base Hospital is small but mighty, with professionals across a range of specialties. You will be joining:

  • A highly experienced OT leading our acute wards.
  • A fresh and enthusiastic new graduate OT bringing energy to the acute space.
  • A part-time OT delivering specialist outpatient cancer care and lymphoedema services.
  • A part-time OT delivering specialist paediatric services.

About You
  • An in-depth understanding of occupational therapy services delivered with curiosity and empathy.
  • Tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy with AHPRA registration.
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and as part of a large team.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and priorities.
