Overview

Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist - Level 3 - Griffith – Full Time Temporary (until 25 January 2026 – Leave Relief with possibility of extension) with NSW Health. Remuneration: $112, $116,038.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable). Hours per week: 38. Applications close: 26 September 2025.

MLHD is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist who can provide plan and deliver comprehensive, high quality patient care to our regional Griffith communities. You will work collaboratively with a supportive allied health team and have opportunities to work across a range of settings, including the new Griffith Base Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Helping clients in rural areas achieve positive health outcomes using new ways of delivering care.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimise the health care and wellbeing of each client and their loved ones.
  • Supporting complex cases with a variety of challenges and considerations to navigate.
About The Team

At Griffith Base Hospital, our dynamic Occupational Therapy team is small but mighty, with professionals across a range of specialties. You will be joining:

  • A highly experienced Level 3 OT leading our acute wards
  • A fresh and enthusiastic new graduate OT bringing energy to the acute space
  • A part-time Level 3 OT delivering specialist outpatient cancer care and lymphoedema services
  • A part-time Level 3 OT delivering specialist paediatric services
  • Possibility of a casual position waiting to be filled

About You
  • An in-depth understanding of Occupational Therapy services delivered with curiosity and empathy
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy with AHPRA Registration
  • High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage a diverse workload and priorities
