Physiotherapist - Regional Care Specialist

Job Description:

The Physiotherapy Department at Griffith Base Hospital seeks a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our team. As the Physiotherapist, you will be working in a rotational position covering various areas including acute cardiorespiratory, surgical, critical care, rehabilitation, and orthopaedic/musculoskeletal outpatients.

The hospital and outpatient departments are modern and spacious, providing an ideal environment for delivering comprehensive physiotherapy services. Our multidisciplinary allied health team is committed to providing high-quality patient care and supporting complex cases with varying challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients in a variety of settings
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and wellbeing
  • Supporting complex cases requiring empathy and problem-solving skills

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
  • High level of professionalism with ability to work independently and as part of a large team
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage diverse workload and prioritise services effectively
