Instructional Leadership Position

This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing student performance and educational outcomes by contributing to the development and implementation of educational programs within established policies and priorities.
The successful candidate will significantly increase staff knowledge within schools about student learning and high-quality vocational instruction that supports meaningful employment pathways.
This includes planning and teaching programs to achieve positive student outcomes and longer-term student retention, as well as undertaking critical reflection and inquiry to improve knowledge and skills to effectively engage students and enhance their learning experience.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Model exemplary classroom practice and provide guidance to students to critically reflect on their learning experiences.
- Offer expert advice on content, processes, and strategies for individual student and school staff professional learning.
- Have direct responsibility for teaching groups of or individual students undertaking educational programs.
- Collaborate closely with individual schools, staff, and careers practitioners to monitor student pathways and inform program improvements.
