Lead Learning Design Specialist
We're seeking a skilled instructional designer to spearhead the creation of impactful learning programs that foster leadership development across various organisational levels.
In this role, you'll collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to develop engaging, blended learning experiences that drive people management capability and embed effective leadership behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive leadership development programs aligned with organisational capability frameworks.
- Conduct thorough needs analyses and gap assessments to inform program content and ensure relevance.
- Create immersive, adult-learning-focused content using modern instructional design techniques.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person sessions, including Train the Trainer programs, workshops, and pilot leadership initiatives.
- Evaluate learning outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
- Support adoption and engagement of leadership programs through coaching, tools, and internal communication strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in instructional design focused on leadership development, preferably within fast-paced organisations.
- Strong knowledge of people management frameworks, behavioural leadership competencies, and capability-based learning principles.
- Proficiency in blended learning design and facilitation, leveraging tools like Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, and LMS platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior leaders effectively.
- Agile, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities in dynamic environments.
