Key Role:

The Elementary Assistant Principal will assist the Elementary Principal in overseeing the K-4 instructional staff, including teachers and instructional aides. They will also assist with the school's operation during the Elementary Principal's absence.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a biblical perspective is integrated into all aspects of the school.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all policies, procedures, and handbooks.
  • Initiate, lead, and assist with elementary school events and activities.
  • Assist with counseling and discipline of elementary school students.
  • Supervise and evaluate elementary school faculty and staff.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff.
  • Participate in admissions interviews.
  • Coordinate curriculum documents with the Elementary Principal to ensure they are current and accurate.
Requirements:
  • Earned a master's degree in education or another related field.
  • Taught for a minimum of three (3) years.
  • Obtained ACSI Administrative Certification within the first year of employment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Publisher.
  • Leadership and knowledge of elementary school instructional programs.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Possess leadership and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate a personal relationship with Jesus through spiritual and moral integrity.
  • Consistently display the Fruits of the Spirit.
  • Actively participate in a local Bible-believing church.
  • Have a mature, ongoing relationship with Christ and regularly attend church services.
