We are seeking a qualified and experienced Tutor to join our team. As a Resident Boarding Tutor, you will be responsible for providing academic support and pastoral care to students in a boarding environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing tutoring to students in Years 6-12, with a focus on Mathematics and Science subjects.
- Assisting with the general routine of the house and supporting House Supervisors as needed.
- Attending rostered weeknights on duty, sleepovers, and special events.
The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work with adolescent girls and an ability to relate to them and their carers.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Paid Blue Card or eligibility to apply for one prior to appointment.
- Completion of the Australian Boarding Schools Association Duty of Care Course.
- Relevant qualification in Boarder Management.
As a Resident Boarding Tutor, you will enjoy:
- 10 hours of tutoring per week, paid by provision of accommodation and meals during school term time.
- Overnight duties with a paid allowance.
- Opportunities for professional development and growth.
- Furnished shared onsite accommodation and all meals during school term time.
This is a part-time position, working 10 hours per week during school term time. You will also be required to attend rostered weeknights on duty and special events.
