Expert Clinical Advisor

As a technical advisor, you will provide clinical expertise in an office-based setting. Your primary focus will be ensuring the inclusion and support of individuals affected by disabilities.
This role lies within the technical advisory branch of the agency and is well-suited to allied health clinicians with specialist experience in the disability sector.
- Provide expert clinical advice and support to staff on complex disabilities and health-related supports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent decision making.
- Contribute to policy and operational guidelines to maximise performance.
- Ensure high-quality written advice and record keeping.
- Promote a supportive and positive work environment.
In order to succeed in this role, you will hold an allied health qualification with experience in complex clinical advisory.
Key Responsibilities- Qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology Psychology, Registered Nurse, Social Work, Mental Health Practitioners, Behaviour Support Practitioners are accepted.
- Proven understanding and knowledge of disability and its impact on individuals.
- Strong interpersonal skills - strong report writing skills are essential.
- Ability to provide coaching and training to staff including presentation of evidence.
