The Patient Experience Unit facilitates innovative systems to support continuous improvement in patient care and achievement of organisational goals.

About the Role

This role requires someone who can work alongside stakeholders to promote consumer partnership across Austin Health and develop productive relationships with consumers at all levels of the organisation. They will develop and implement processes to ensure effective partnerships between healthcare professionals and consumers.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, onboard and orientate consumer partners
  • Support staff to partner with consumers on committees, working groups and project teams
  • Coordinate training, mentoring and support for consumer partners
  • Maintain communications and resources for consumer partners and staff

You'll be someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who takes a collaborative approach to their work. You'll be proactive, self-directed, and have strong organisational and time management skills.

We're looking for someone with experience in healthcare, recruitment, performance management and staff retention. You should also have a demonstrated understanding of community partnering and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
