Project Manager Opportunities

We are seeking an experienced project professional to support our civil engineering team in Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in land development and project management, with proven experience leading teams of engineers and technicians.

The role involves supporting projects across the entire life cycle, including design management, tendering, contract administration, financial management, project scheduling, and risk management.

You will work closely with campaign and proposal staff to identify project opportunities and prepare proposal material, ensuring client requirements, scope/deliverables, risk, technical, and commercial needs are achievable.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery by providing management skills to ensure the end products meet client and stakeholder expectations.
  • Assisting in reviewing and negotiating contracts, and reviewing executed contracts to verify timeframes, milestones, procedures, and budgets to achieve project outcomes.
  • Establishing project plans (where required) including resourcing, finance, risk, and quality in conjunction with the technical team.
  • Performing on technically complex projects and may act as a technical resource to other team members.

Qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Project management, Construction management or relevant technical qualification is desirable.
  • Ideally you should have 7 years of experience.
  • Previous civil project management experience working in civil projects including stormwater/roads, land development, and councils.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in time management and organisational skills, including the ability to manage resources and delegate tasks effectively.
