About the Role:

Maintain Grounds: As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our external grounds are well-maintained, clean, and presentable at all times. You will work closely with our maintenance team to keep everything in top condition.

Gardening and Lawn Care: You will take care of our gardens and lawns, performing tasks such as fertilizing, weed management, pruning, and replanting. You will safely use and maintain the equipment necessary to make this possible. Your green thumb will help our plants thrive.

Resident Experience: You will ensure that our outdoor areas are safe and enjoyable for our residents and their families.

Team Player: You will assist the maintenance staff as required, which may include relief maintenance during periods of leave.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking candidates who have a passion for horticulture and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Here are some key points we're looking for:

  • Experience in lawns and gardens maintenance, including operating and maintaining role-related equipment (e.g., ride-on mowers, whipper snippers)
  • A valid driver's license, own vehicle, and the ability to meet the role's physical requirements
  • Comfortable using IT programs or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • National Police check suitable for Aged Care or willingness to obtain one
