Cultural Health Researcher

The Research Assistant will support two national studies focusing on reducing dementia risk in culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The role requires assisting the Principal Investigator and Project Manager with preparing governance documents, supporting literature reviews and co-design workshops, and translating materials into Arabic for Sub-Saharan communities.
Responsibilities:- Preparing ethics amendments and governance documents
- Supporting literature reviews and co-design workshops
- Translating materials into Arabic for Sub-Saharan communities
- Collecting qualitative and quantitative data
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences with relevant further study
- Fluency in Arabic language from a sub-Saharan background, with excellent English communication skills
- Experience in research activities including ethics applications, stakeholder coordination, participant recruitment, data collection, and reporting
- Strong writing and communication skills with experience contributing to scientific reports, publications, or conference presentations
- Proficiency with software and IT applications including Microsoft Office and research tools like Covidence, EndNote, and RedCap
