Health Technology Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Technology Researcher to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to advancing the development of innovative, user-centred medical and assistive technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in technology and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through innovation.

This role involves working with other researchers, health professionals, and end users of technology to co-design enabling technology solutions that support people to participate in their everyday lives. You will be part of a collaborative research environment where you will add depth and knowledge of body functions and structures, mental health, disability, funding streams and task analysis to the pool of clinicians and researchers.

  • Design and develop new research initiatives that address real-world problems related to health and technology.
  • Conduct research experience in an area related to health, technology, disability, ageing, MedTech or innovative solutions.
  • Develop innovative solutions to address complex healthcare challenges.
  • Collaborate with diverse populations including people with different communication and support needs.
  • Analyse quantitative and qualitative data to inform research decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Undergraduate qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Medicine, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology or related fields.
  • PhD in relevant fields such as Health, Design, Business or similar.
