Project Engagement Specialist

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on one of Australia's most significant infrastructure projects. As a federal government position, the successful candidate will be skilled in building robust relationships and driving meaningful engagement on major project/s.

About the Role

The Project Engagement Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies to support the delivery of infrastructure projects. This involves conducting research and mapping stakeholders, maintaining accurate records of interactions, and providing strategic advice to executive teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans aligned with project objectives.
  • Conduct thorough stakeholder research and analysis, identifying key players and their interests.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stakeholder interactions, including meeting notes and correspondence.
  • Develop high-quality communication materials, such as briefing notes, reports, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills to identify impacts, risks, and opportunities.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in stakeholder and/or community engagement roles.
  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
