Job Overview

This role is pivotal in supporting the Neonatal Intensive Care Units' (NICUs) Data Registry by collaborating with the CNC coordinator to build a robust NICU network. The position entails assisting with the maintenance of the database, training of NICU support personnel and data entry as required.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 will assist the CNC Coordinator of NICUs with the management of the data registry and education of audit officers and support staff within the Neonatal Intensive Care Units and Level 4 nurseries in NSW and ACT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the database and data entry as required
  • Training of NICU support personnel
  • Education of audit officers and support staff

Requirements:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a nurse/midwife
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the relevant clinical area of post-registration qualification
  • Relevant neonatal and maternity nursing experience including some experience with neonatal surgical conditions
