The Opportunity

As a Personal Care Specialist with Australian Unity Aboriginal Home Health, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our Aboriginal elders and community. You'll work in a rewarding role that combines personal care with social support, and have the chance to develop your skills and career with our traineeships program.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing personal care duties, including showering, feeding, and toileting, as well as assisting with oral medication
  • Offering social support, such as accompanying clients to doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation

Requirements

  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to care
  • A reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
  • 12 + months personal care experience required
  • Cert III in Individual Support will be highly regarded
