We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to play a unique role in supporting teachers and ensuring each child has the opportunity to grow academically, spiritually and to live a purposeful life.

About the Role

Learning Support Assistants work closely with teachers to promote a faith-filled educational experience for students and their families. They also support the school in promoting learning and excellence, creativity and curiosity, and deep engagement with the world.

  • LSAs work under the direction of teachers to provide support and assistance in school routines, classroom activities, and the care and support of students with disability.
Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A clear understanding of and personal commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Church through Catholic schools.
  • Experience working with students with disability (K-12).
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with school staff, CSO staff, and external stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications and Certifications

You will require:

  • A current paid NSW Working with Children Check number.
  • Completion of anaphylaxis training.
