As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to automate infrastructure, improve system performance, and support DevOps and CloudOps practices.
Main Responsibilities:- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable application infrastructure in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Build and manage Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD
- Write maintainable, production-grade code in a modern programming language (such as Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin)
- Apply CloudOps and SRE fundamentals, including SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, toil reduction, golden signals, and progressive delivery, to real-world systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues in distributed systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and HTTP/S protocols
- Perform Linux system administration, including performance analysis, troubleshooting, and automation with shell tools
- Collaborate with development, operations, and product teams to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions
You are a collaborative team player, eager to learn, and proactive in seeking solutions and familiar with agile methodologies. You will also have a strong foundation in software engineering, with experience writing maintainable, production-grade code in at least one modern language (ideally Golang, TypeScript, or Kotlin), comfortable working in Linux-based environments, and hands-on experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
