Job Title: Receivables Officer

This role is a vital part of the finance team responsible for ensuring timely recovery of outstanding accounts. The successful candidate will have a balance of financial precision and emotional intelligence, especially when dealing with sensitive situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate debtors' reports across all business lines to ensure accurate tracking
  • Monitor overdue accounts and initiate follow-ups in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal teams and external debt collection agencies to recover payments
  • Communicate recommendations and outcomes to senior management
  • Manage the debt collection inbox efficiently to minimize delays
  • Process payments via phone and bank statements while maintaining accuracy
  • Allocate payments to appropriate accounts accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting residents and families with account queries
  • Respond to general inquiries related to receivables with professionalism and empathy
  • Offer backup support to team members as needed
  • Handle correspondence, filing, and other administrative tasks with attention to detail
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer or Team Lead
