Job Overview

Melbourne Airport is seeking a highly skilled Project Development Manager to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of capital projects that support Aviation business unit plans and wider APAC strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and managing the successful delivery of assigned projects, ensuring coordination of capital project activities across other business units and program groups.
  • Serving as a key point of contact for stakeholders in assigned capital projects, keeping them up-to-speed with progress.
  • Ensuring cross collaboration across BU functions, including drawing in APAM SMEs as required to support Program Delivery.
  • Playing a key role in engagement of internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues/ matters for direction as needed.
  • Monitoring the project teams to ensure the brief and scope are being delivered, preparing Investment Committee/ Board Submissions as per timelines.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualified with experience in planning, development and delivery of projects in the Built Environment.
  • Capital projects experience through all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Strong financial acumen, including development of business cases and financial appraisals.
  • Ability to produce results within a given timeframe, high level of motivation and proven experience driving project outcomes.
  • Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, able to communicate at all levels of organisations.
