Job Description: Home Care Worker

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide exceptional care, support, and companionship to seniors living independently in our community. Your role will involve:

  • Offering one-on-one assistance with social outings, shopping, and domestic tasks.
  • Enhancing seniors' quality of life by fostering belonging and fulfillment through meaningful interactions.
  • Supporting daily living activities, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and personal care needs.
  • Assisting with respite care and helping clients attend appointments and outings, promoting their independence.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Certificate 3 in Disability or related field (desired).
  • Minimum 1 year's experience working with people who are frail, aged, or have a disability.
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable people, CALD backgrounds, and complex needs.
  • A sound understanding of Work Health & Safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a team environment.

Your estimated salary is approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience. We also offer flexible hours from Casual to Part-Time, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
