We are seeking qualified and experienced Personal Care Assistants to join our team at Signature Care Operations, a family-owned and operated aged care provider with a holistic focus on community, individual well-being, and a culture of respect and dignity.
Our new 180 bed aged care residence in Turvey Park offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. We need carers who will look after our residents with kindness, attentiveness, and respect, striving to maintain and enhance their health and wellbeing, capabilities, independence, choice, privacy, dignity, and safety.
The role involves performing day-to-day personal care activities, providing a high standard of direct care to residents, including the administration of medications as delegated and completion of documentation using business systems. You will also be responsible for communicating with residents, their families and friends, and other staff in the residence about any changes or feedback required in a professional and private manner.
Shifts and varying hours are available for morning, afternoon, and night duty, including weekdays and weekends. We are particularly seeking reliable candidates with the availability and flexibility to work casual and part-time shifts.
About You- You should have a Certificate III or IV in Aged Care and experience in Aged Care or a similar field.
- You must be available to work various shifts across various days.
- You should have good computer literacy and ability to accurately update resident progress notes.
- You must hold valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate, Visa etc).
- You should have a valid Police Check for unsupervised care of vulnerable people that is not more than 12 months old.
- You must be current with COVID Vaccination.

We provide competitive remuneration for this role, with an estimated annual salary of AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
