As a Box Folder Gluer Machine Operator, you will set up and operate folder gluer machines to produce high-quality packaging solutions.

  • Set up and operate folder gluer machines (Bobst, Jagenberg, Omega, or similar) to ensure consistent and efficient production.
  • Adjust glue systems (cold glue, hot melt) to achieve high-quality application.
  • Monitor production runs, perform in-process inspections, and ensure product quality meets company standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow job specifications and meet daily production targets in collaboration with the production team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate complex machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Adjust and maintain equipment to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production targets.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating folder gluer equipment in a packaging or converting environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up, adjust, and perform minor repairs on equipment.
  • Familiarity with substrates like paperboard and corrugate.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced production environment.
