Project Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading engineering projects, managing project costs, administering procurement and engagement of contract work, and ensuring that projects are delivered within the set time constraints.

Job Description

The Project Engineer will lead moderate-to-considerable difficulty, complexity, and risk engineering projects. They will take full ownership of all aspects of project management and delivery, ensuring that deliverables agreed with clients are met.

  • Lead engineering projects of moderate-to-considerable difficulty, complexity, and risk.
  • Manage the cost of the delivery of services to ensure that the projects and jobs under supervision are achieved within budget constraints.
  • Administer and manage the procurement, engagement, and execution of contract work to meet overall schedule and project objectives in accordance with relevant project designs and specifications.
  • Ensure that projects are achieved within the set time constraints, taking necessary corrective actions without exceeding the budget.
  • Coordinate quality assurance and quality control by implementing work procedures, auditing conformance of projects, and recording and reporting on work quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate must have a tertiary qualification in Engineering and demonstrated well-developed technical knowledge and skills in civil engineering, construction management, and procurement. They must also possess a current
