About the Role
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and compliance matters
  • Assist with HR policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Respond to employee queries and provide HR guidance
  • Coordinate HR communications, projects, and engagement initiatives
  • Manage employee records and HR reporting
  • Support the full employee lifecycle; onboarding, promotions, transitions, and offboarding
  • Assist with performance reviews and development planning
  • Coordinate training sessions and support learning initiatives
  • Drive change management and employee engagement activities
  • Maintain leave balances and support managers with workforce planning
  • Contribute to audits, compliance checks, and continuous process improvements

This role requires a degree in Human Resources or a similar field and 2-3 years' experience in a HR Administration role, ideally in Retail or Hospitality. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices, as well as knowledge of employment laws and compliance (e.g., Fair Work Act, WHS regulations). Experience with HRIS systems and employee records management is also essential.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Human Resources or a similar field
  • 2-3 years' experience in a HR Administration role, ideally in Retail or Hospitality
  • A strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Knowledge of employment laws and compliance
  • Experience with HRIS systems and employee records management
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
