About the Role

Our client, a renowned global engineering and advisory company, seeks an experienced Urban Infrastructure Planner to join their team in NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with expertise in statutory planning, approvals, and strategic planning to lead a team of experts, deliver private sector approvals, engage with clients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading high-performing teams, mentoring, coaching, and providing technical guidance
  • Delivering private sector approvals across diverse markets
  • Engaging with clients on master planning, precinct planning, or regional planning outcomes
  • Utilizing a strong understanding of infrastructure's role in land use planning
  • Collaborating with project teams
  • Preparing reports to exceptional standards
  • Managing commercial risks and opportunities
  • Building key client relationships

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in NSW undertaking statutory and strategic planning
  • A minimum bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
  • Ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A desire to deliver exceptional client experiences
  • Current driver's license
  • Experience navigating DA's, SSD's, or strategic planning at precinct or development scale is highly regarded
