To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 1 year full-time experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting
- Concurrent enrolment in a diploma of midwifery university program at UTS or WSU
- Ability to commit to part-time employment with a minimum FTE of 0.84, including 8 and 12-hour shifts on a 7-day rotating roster
- Understanding of the midwife role within primary healthcare
- Clinical problem-solving ability
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Effective teamwork understanding and ability
