Occupational Health and Safety Specialist

Job Summary:

Our organization is seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to provide support and monitor Health & Safety Management Systems, culture, and processes to meet occupational health and safety statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Workers Compensation claims process in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Coordinate employee return to work programs, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Assist employees with non-work-related injuries to support their return to work.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for delivering work health and safety training.
  • Sound understanding of health and safety legislation, with demonstrated best practice in an operational environment.
