About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver to lead our Airside team on shift. As a key member of our Customer Delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department to ensure productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Performance Management: Ensure completion of regular performance assessment reports and assist in the supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area.
  • Leadership: Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver, including supervising, training, and inducting workers within a designated work area.
  • Work Coordination: Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area, including administrative and reporting duties as required.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Follow up on any discrepancies and ensure all flight deliveries are correct.
Requirements
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Qualifications: Hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card, Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license, and authority to drive airside ADA.
  • Flexibility: Be flexible in working around flight schedules, including a 7-day per week operation.
  • Clean Police Record: Possess a clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks required.
