Customer Delivery Driver - Airside Operations

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Driver with excellent leadership capabilities to lead our Airside team on shift. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of service to all customers in line with operational schedules and safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate team members in the Customer Delivery department to ensure productivity and performance criteria are met.
  • Assist in the supervision of catering trucks within a designated work area to ensure they reach and load-up all aircraft safely and on schedule.
  • Lead by example and perform all the duties of a Driver, including supervising, training, and inducting workers within a designated work area.
  • Organise and coordinate work within the designated work area, including performing administrative and reporting duties as required.
  • Follow up on any discrepancies and ensure all flight deliveries are correct.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrate leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills necessary to efficiently meet performance requirements in a changing work environment.
  • Display leadership by example and possess good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold and maintain possession of a valid ASIC card and a valid Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license, as well as the authority to drive airside ADA.
  • Fork Lift license is preferred but not essential.
  • First Aid Certificate and WHS qualifications are preferred.
  • Flexibility in working around flight schedules is essential, with a 7-day per week operation.
  • A clean Police Record is required as part of mandatory checks.
