Event Coordination Specialist

The Event Coordination Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of events across Western Australia. This position will be based in Perth and will oversee the logistical aspects of event preparation and installation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Management: Manage all logistics services, including resourcing, stock control, and warehouse management to guarantee seamless event delivery.
  • Crew Management: Lead, manage, and develop an events crew, ensuring satisfactory training and timely on-site installation.
  • Scheduling: Manage the scheduling of event crew for event installation and dismantlement to meet client expectations.
  • Operations Supervision: Supervise on-site operations to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards and company policies.
  • Staff Management: Review and approve staff timesheets daily, and then submit approved weekly staff timesheets to accounts for payroll processing.
  • Event Setup: Ensure all areas are properly set up, including signage, equipment, infrastructure, and staff allocation.
  • Stock Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound stock shipments, including receiving and distributing stock to meet event demands.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Support the development and implementation of improvements and innovative solutions to enhance event delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients to manage expectations and resolve queries in a professional manner.
  • Post-Event Debrief: Participate in post-event debriefs, addressing client feedback and implementing improvements to enhance future event delivery.
