We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build their long-term career in HV electrical engineering, working alongside experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate will have experience in substation design, including layout, HV equipment specification, earthing, and busbar arrangements. They will also have a solid foundation in Australian standards, utility requirements, and network connection processes.

The role involves working on complex projects across multiple states, with opportunities for technical development through mentoring, structured training, and exposure to high-voltage electrical design solutions.

  • Experience in HV electrical design within a consultancy, utility, or EPC contractor environment
  • Exposure to primary substation design including layout, HV equipment specification, earthing, and busbar arrangements
  • Familiarity with Australian standards, utility requirements, and network connection processes
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

Key to success in this role is a proactive mindset to continually develop your expertise.

Essential Requirements
  • 1-5 years of experience in HV electrical design within a consultancy, utility, or EPC contractor environment
  • Technical skills in substation design, earthing, and busbar arrangements
  • Strong knowledge of Australian standards and network connection processes
