Job Summary:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.

You will assist with payroll, budget preparation, and financial reporting to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring proper documentation of all transactions.
  • Assisting with payroll, budget preparation, and financial reporting.
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payment.
  • Supporting the medical administration team with financial queries and adjustments.
  • Ensuring compliance with healthcare billing standards and financial regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Preparing Balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances.
  • Proactively recommending and contributing to improvements to financial controls, processes, and procedures that meet business and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or medical environment.
  • Proficiency in Best Practice billing software and Xero accounting.
  • A Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • Work authorization for Australia.
