About the Role

We are seeking a suitably qualified professional to operate processing equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner to maximise production output.

This position involves operating plant and equipment with due consideration of safety, people and environmental issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating all processing plant equipment relating to: Crushing, grinding, leach and adsorption, elution circuit, tails storage facility, and gold room duties
  • Maximising return on assets through effective utilisation of those assets
  • Identifying and diagnosing items of plant that require preventative maintenance or repair
  • Assisting technicians in the repair of equipment to ensure minimal impact on production
  • Carrying out minor maintenance and demonstrating proficiency in the safe and correct use of specific equipment
  • Monitoring use of reagents
  • Ensuring production activities achieve maximum effective use of plant and equipment

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and proficiency in processing plant operations
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Computing skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
  • A valid driver's license
