Optimization Expertise

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Perth and contribute their process analytics and optimization skills. Our unique remote optimization approach enables greater site-life harmony, and you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team applying fit-for-purpose automation, control, and digital solutions that create value for clients.

You will provide a range of services to clients, including metallurgical accounting, discovery audits, control strategy changes, commissioning, tuning, and process information reviews.

  • Engage with clients to understand operational problems and opportunities.
  • Undertake potential assessments to calculate the expected return on investment (ROI).
  • Develop integrated solutions spanning all layers of the automation pyramid to holistically solve client problems.
  • Collaborate with designers, instrumentation & control system engineers, and production system specialists to design, specify, deploy, and sustain advanced process control solutions.
  • Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Remain at the forefront of process control technology and innovation.
About the Role
  • Degree in Metallurgy, Process or Chemical Engineering with exposure to process control.
  • 7+ years of experience in a metallurgical environment with process control, metallurgical accounting, and production reporting.
  • International and consulting experience across various operations and commodities preferred.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and business drivers across the operational value chain.
  • Experience in designing robust process control strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS, process dynamics, mathematics, simulation, and technical computing.
  • Advanced knowledge of production systems, including modeling and simulation.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with strong client-facing rapport.
