Financial Analyst Role

The Future Generation Joint Venture brings together combined engineering experience and expertise of WeBuild, Clough and Lane to design and construct Snowy 2.0, a pumped hydro scheme in the Snowy Mountains NSW.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for preparing financial reports, budgeting and managing financial information, as well as assisting in the management of finance functions to support FGJV as directed by the Chief Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Receivable functions and reporting
  • Assist the Accounts Payable function and authorisations
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial accounts
  • Perform variance analysis on budget to actual reporting/GL and Projects
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Manage fixed assets
  • Improve management information systems and integrate/reporting frameworks
  • Monitor internal controls and procedures
  • Liaise with external auditors where necessary

This role requires a high level of computer literacy, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experience in a construction/information environment.
