Environmental Specialist Opportunity

This position is ideal for a professional looking to contribute their expertise in environmental assessments and approvals. As an Environmental Specialist, you will work closely with our team to provide expert services across various projects.

The role encompasses Approvals and impact assessment, Audit and compliance, Monitoring and Management, Closure, and opportunities to contribute to GIS tasks. Your strong understanding of project approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment, statutory advice, management plans, and mine closure will be invaluable assets to our team.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years' experience in dealing with project approvals, Environmental Impact Assessment, statutory advice, management plans, and mine closure
  • Audit qualifications are a plus
  • Experience in coordinating complex technical assessments, records, and written reports
  • Expertise in dealing with environmental and mining approvals as well as mine closure
  • Proficiency in GIS is an advantage
