To excel in this role, you will be responsible for strategically assigning personnel to tasks based on their skills and availability.

As a key member of the team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding training, mobilization, pay, and assignments. You will ensure that all employees are up-to-date on required training and performance reviews.

This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to solve complex problems efficiently.

  • Assign employees to tasks based on their skills and availability
  • Manage employee contracts, vacation, and performance evaluations
  • Resolve employee concerns or conflicts
  • Recruit and hire new employees
  • Develop and implement productivity metrics for direct employees
  • Optimize crew composition using data sources such as Service Max and Kahuna
  • Determine employee readiness statuses by incorporating multiple factors
  • Work with the Field Service Coordinator team to ensure mobilization/demobilization plans
  • Partner with Service Managers and the Immigration team to complete necessary immigration documents
  • Report on utilization, bench cost, attrition, and training statuses
  • Collaborate with other Resource Managers to export and/or borrow field employees
  • Conduct audits and inspections on work teams during execution activities
  • Analyze customer feedback and performance data to improve future customer satisfaction and resource utilization
  • Partner with the Regional Training Manager to determine career development opportunities for employees
  • Ensure employees are up-to-date on required EHS training
  • Provide regular feedback to employees about performance and behaviors
  • Participate in quarterly talent development review processes to retain top talent
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field with minimum three to five years project management experience
  • 8+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
  • 3+ years managing and developing employees
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience
  • Experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience
  • English proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualification as Field Engineer and 3+ years experience as Field Engineer is a plus
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management and planning
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under time-sensitive deadlines
