Job Title: Network Operations Supervisor

 

Job Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the real-time operational control of the network, ensuring efficient and safe flight coordination. The Network Operations Supervisor plays a crucial part in monitoring flight schedules, managing delays or disruptions, and optimizing aircraft and crew utilization to maintain on-time performance and enhance the overall passenger experience.

 

Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise 'Day of Operations': Monitor and manage real-time flight operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
  2. Coordinate with Pilots and Ground Staff: Collaborate with pilots, ground staff, and aerodrome operators/staff to address operational issues.
  3. Resolve Disruptions: Analyze and resolve disruptions such as delays, technical problems, and weather-related challenges.
  4. Optimize Aircraft and Crew Scheduling: Use data and insights to optimize aircraft and crew scheduling to maintain on-time performance.
  5. Communicate Operational Changes: Communicate operational changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations and procedures.
  7. Implement Contingency Plans: Implement contingency plans during irregular operations or emergencies.
  8. Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of flight operations and any incidents.

 

Requirements:
  • FRMS and Aircrew Fatigue Legislation: Knowledge of FRMS and Aircrew Fatigue Legislation is essential for this role.
  • Operational Systems: Proficiency in operational systems such as AIMS and Amadeus suite of systems is required.
  • Disruption Management: Strong disruption management skills are necessary for this role.
  • Flight Planning Software: Familiarity with flight planning software is essential for this role.
