About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned data professional to lead the implementation of data sets, SSRS reports, and Power BI dashboards, enabling the operational and commercial requirements for various departments. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements for reporting from business stakeholders, contributing to an innovative environment that transitions the reporting function from a reactive, task-based group to a proactive, forward-looking team.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the execution of the Insights and Data strategy, employing strong data governance across the organisation.
- Gather and document requirements for reporting from business stakeholders.

- Execute data analysis activities, including updating of reports, data validation, data discovery, and data issue investigations.
- Lead the implementation of a range of data sets, SSRS reports, and Power BI dashboards, enabling the operational and commercial requirements for various departments.
- Identify gaps in existing information provision and opportunities for new levels of support for business decision making and operations.
- Proven track record gathering high-quality reporting requirements and translating into effective reports, dashboards, and insights.
- Strong understanding of relational, tabular, and multi-dimensional data structures.
- Extensive experience in SQL Server/SSRS/Power BI/DAX/Excel/Power Pivot.
- Strong client communication, stakeholder engagement, and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
